Dear Willow Run Pool Members,

The Willow Run Board of Directors and pool staff thank you for your support during the 2021 season.  We’re so happy to be preparing for a full re-opening of the pool this year based on the information in this letter. We’ll keep the membership updated by email as we get closer to Opening Day.

We will again be offering electronic invoicing to those members who enjoy this option! Enclosed is the traditional paper invoice to pay by check, but if you would like to request an electronic invoice, please email willowrunpool1@gmail.com. If paying by electronic invoice, you may request two equal installments rather than a one-time payment. Our 2022 membership dues are $100 Booster, $245 Single, $375 Couple, $475 Family, an electronic payment fee of $15/family or $10/couple, individual, booster will be applied for on-line payments. Payments for all memberships are due in full by 5/1/21 or the $25 late fee applies.

Pool Workday is Saturday, April 30 from 8am – 2pm (rain date May 7). This is your chance to help get the pool ready for the season! Volunteers can earn a $10 concession credit (max $20 credit per family) by spending a minimum of four hours helping to spruce up our pool grounds & landscaping. Make sure you check in at the breezeway upon arrival. For safety reasons, no children under the age of 12 please.  Middle & High Schoolers: your volunteer hours qualify for Crosby Scholars, Scouting, etc – be sure to bring the appropriate form for your program. Join us & bring your hats, gloves, rakes, shovels, hedge clippers, etc.

Mark your calendar:  Opening Day is Saturday, May 28!  The pool will be open from 10am 8pm.  To promote new memberships, this will be a FREE GUEST DAY — bring your friends who may be interested in joining.

The world-famous Willow Run Grill will be open on Opening Day, Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day from 11am – 2pm each day. The $25 “Family Meal Deal” is available at the grill for a family of five (+ $5 for each additional family member on the day of the event).

Don’t carry cash? Once again, we have the ability to create pre-paid concession accounts for our members throughout the season.  Stop by the concession stand during pool hours to open or update your account.  Any unused prepaid concessions from last season are still available for the 2022 season. We will also continue offering the convenience of credit card and contactless payments!

Want to learn how to swim? Individual or small group lessons for children and adults are available through our Red Cross or YMCA certified lifeguards and swim coaches. Stop by the concession stand during pool hours to speak with one of our staff for more information.

Are your kids interested in being a member of the Willow Run Dolphin Swim Team? Details about the swim team season are still being worked out, so stay tuned for more information on swim team registration. If you’d like to join the distribution list or have questions send an email to willowrundolphins@gmail.com. Jena Penner and Rich Woodside are our League Representatives for the Greater Forsyth Swim League and will be running the logistics of our swim team. Swim team practice is scheduled to start on May 16.

Everyone loves a pool party! The pool is available for members during and after pool hours to rent for birthday parties, youth groups, sports teams, meetings, or get-togethers with friends and/or family. ALL parties must be reserved so we can provide adequate lifeguard coverage and deck space. To reserve your date, contact Vickie Jellar at chattycash@hotmail.com or call 336-414-1735.

July 5: Home swim meet – pool closes at 4pm

Sept 6: Labor Day party – pool closes for season at 6pm
